Last week my friend Lynsey was in town enjoying her last Spring Break before she graduates college.  You may remember Lynsey from here and here.  Lynsey and I met in our first photo class at Tech.  Just a little FYI, I can be a little shy in groups, at least when I first meet people.  That class was no different, but Lynsey was always so sweet to me and through the duration of our following photo classes together we became really good friends.  It’s always such an honor when a fellow photographer trusts you to capture their personalities in photos, so I was humbled when Lynsey asked me to take some pictures of her to celebrate her upcoming graduation from Tech this May.

Lynsey, thanks again for trusting me with these and I hope I didn’t disappoint!  And a big thanks for dinner, it was delicious!

We started at Rice University.  They have some gorgeous grounds with tall beautiful trees there.

I’m not sure if she was laughing with me or at me in this picture…I choose to believe she was laughing with me.

Lynsey kept insisting she couldn’t pull off a “serious” shot.  Lynsey, you’re so wrong!  You were workin’ it here!

Right after I snapped this next one, I told Lynsey it was going on the blog.  Her response?  “I love you, but I hate you.”  I’ll take that as a compliment.

No only did we have our photo classes together but we were both double majors in Photo and Advertising.  As you can imagine, we spent a fair amount of time together in many of the same classes.  And of course, we both graduated at the same time, so when Christina asked me to take her senior pictures I jumped at the chance!
