For the past couple of years I’ve made it a point to make resolutions for the new year. I came to the realization one year that if I don’t know what I want to accomplish it’ll never happen. So by figuring out what it is I want to achieve and acknowledging it, then I have something concrete to work towards.
This year I decided to get serious. Serious as in no nonsense time. I went back through last year’s resolutions and while they were all great goals to have, they didn’t challenge me. They didn’t push me. Basically, they were goals that I knew I could reach. This year I have decided to evaluate where my life life is right now. What do I like about my life? What do I want to change about it? Where do I want to be a year from now? And from there, I set realistic goals and decided on plans that will (hopefully) help me achieve these goals.
Oh, and these goals are personal and business related. Just thought I’d randomly throw that out there.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I hate failure. In fact, I think terrified would be an accurate description of my feelings towards failure. I also think there’s a definite possibility that I won’t meet some of these goals in the next year (which makes me nervous). However, if I want to get serious and achieve what I want to achieve, I need to start upping the ante on my goals for the year.
Hopefully, success will be staring me in the face come the end of 2010! ![]()
And because a photo always make things better, here’s a sneak look at what’s to come!

Happy New Year!
