Married: Brittany and Matt

I had the pleasure of shooting with Niki a few weeks ago out at the Houston Oaks Country Club.  It was my first time shooting there and that place is gorgeous!  There were big oak trees everywhere and I loved it!  I can’t wait to shoot there again but for now, here are just a few from that day.

Married: Amanda and Richard

I had the privilege of being apart of Amanda and Richard’s wedding day back in April.  Carolyn asked me to second shoot for her and I’m so glad she did, because this wedding was gorgeous!  It was a backyard wedding that took place out in the country, and I loved it!  There were so many little touches and details to bring the day together, and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.

Just some of those details I was talking about.

Amanda and Richard chose to have a first look which was great!  We were able to have some extra time to get some great pictures of just the two of them.

Albums

I have been wanting a new album company for a long time now, but I wasn’t quite sure which company to go with.  There are SO many album companies out there that it can make choosing one harder than it should be.  (Same thing goes for photo labs.)  I knew I wanted something with excellent print quality, lay flat, simple and timeless, and no cut down the center of the spread.  I was finally able to choose an album company and ordered my new studio samples a few months ago.

These albums come in multiple sizes, 12×12, 10×10, 8×8, 4×4, the choice of a leather or linen cover and multiple cover color options.

The color choices: white, pink, green, black, red, brown and blue.

The 4×4 books come with thinner pages than the larger albums but are great gifts to give to family and friends! They’re also easy to fit in your purse so you can keep it handy when you want to show it off!

A larger wedding album.

The 8×8, 10×10 and 12×12 albums come with thick pages which I love and you can see that there’s no spaces down the center of the fold.

Laura - These look like the albums we get for our wedding. Our photographer called them ‘magazine albums’. We loved them.July 17, 2010 – 1:02 pm

Married: Chris and Penny

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of helping capture Chris and Penny’s wedding day.  The day was gorgeous and perfect for pictures.

A big thanks to Monique for asking me to shoot with her!

The ceremony was held at Heather’s Glen in Conroe.

I got to hang with the guys before the ceremony.

Penny right before walking down the aisle.

Funny story here.  After Penny and Chris lit the unity candle they blew out their individual candles, and the unity candle accidentally went out also.  This was their reaction.  Love it!

After the ceremony and reception were over, Penny and Chris wanted to grab some shots over at The Woodlands Waterway.  Monique invited  me to tag along.  Here are some of my favorites from that mini session.

I love when couples can be goofy with each other!

A favorite from the day.

Rachael - WOW…those are some awesome shots! I LOVE the ones you did at the Waterway, they are such a cute couple and you really captured the love they have for each other, amazing!July 4, 2010 – 8:48 pm
