I have a work flow. It goes something like this: take pictures, download pictures to my computer, backup, go through the photos and delete what I don’t like, edit the ones I do like, resize and put my logo on the ones for my blog, post to my blog and upload gallery for client. Normally I get all of this finished within 1-2 weeks. Simple, right?
Wrong.
Well, wrong in the case of my own personal photos. I don’t know why, but I’ll take my own pictures and for some reason they will sit on my computer for MONTHS before I touch them. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll look at them when I first load the pictures onto my computer and I might edit one or two, but the rest of the pictures will just sit there. And sit. And sit. It’s kind of embarrassing.
So, I’ve made a little goal to myself to get better at this.
Here are just a few pictures I took when I was in California earlier this summer (some two and a half months ago). I had posted a couple pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge on my old blog from this trip (that would be the “one or two” I was referring to earlier), but didn’t follow up with anything else. I know, I know, shame on me. This is Emily and Courtney. Both are the daughters of two of my cousins.
Emily loves being in front of the camera.

And here’s Courtney. I had forgotten how much fun it is to watch young kids play baseball and softball. VERY entertaining, in a good way of course. ![]()

Happy Friday!
